What do I need to create compressed air at home?

I was interested in the process used to compress air in industry, but more specifically if it was possible to make a can of compressed air at home?

You need an air compressor.
They all compress air.
Industrial air compressors can supply high pressure and high cubic feet per minute.

Air compressors for normal business use like a car service garage and what you would use at home, supply around 150 psi. max.
The cheapest one you can get would be one for sports equipment, car tire filling etc.
You can get one at Walmart that runs on a car battery
or battery charger,
It will make pressure up to about 100psi, but
because of it’s small piston, the cubic feet per
minute of air that it can make is small.
